Why this site exists
Most expats buy health insurance from whoever contacts them first, in a language they half understand, without ever being shown what a Thai hospital bill looks like. This site publishes the underlying information first - hospital costs, how OPD and IPD differ, how co-payments work - so that by the time you talk to an advisor you already know what you are choosing between.
